This page explains how Oak Cassidy (“we”, “us”) looks after personal information on this website, which promotes our Oak Insight reporting service.
What we collect
If you send an enquiry through this website, the details you choose to give us are sent securely to our own business system: your name, email address, phone number (optional), website address, what you’re interested in and your message. This website does not use advertising cookies.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and talk to you about Oak Insight or our SEO service
- To set up and run the service, if you become a client
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for anything unrelated to your enquiry. To protect the form from spam we limit how often it can be used, which relies on technical details such as your internet address.
Clients using Oak Insight
If you become a client, the data shown in your dashboard comes from your own website and Google accounts. It is used only to report to you, and only you and our team can see it. The details of what is collected and why are agreed with you when we set the service up.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a service are kept only as long as needed to deal with them. Client information is kept while you are a client and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us at hello@oakcassidy.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
