What exactly is Oak Insight?
It’s a custom reporting service for your website. We connect your website, Google and local data, set everything up by hand for your business, and turn it into one clear picture with a plain-English plan of what to work on next. It isn’t a do-it-yourself tool that we hand over and walk away from.
Do I have to log in and work it all out myself?
No. You can sign in whenever you like (we email you a secure sign-in link, so there’s no password to remember), but the point is that we do the reading for you. Each month you get a written summary and a short list of what to work on next.
Where does the data come from?
From Google Search Console (how you show up in Google), your Google Business Profile and Google reviews, and privacy-friendly visitor analytics on your website. Where it’s useful we also add ranking reports and local map grids.
Who can see my data?
Only you and the Oak Cassidy team. Every client has their own separate dashboard and can only ever see their own website.
Do I need to change my website?
Usually not much. In most cases we add a small privacy-friendly analytics snippet to your site and ask for view access to your Google tools. We’ll tell you exactly what and why before we start.
Will it work with my website?
If you have a website and can give us access to add a small snippet and connect your Google tools, almost certainly. Tell us about your site when you enquire and we’ll confirm.
How much does it cost?
£99 + VAT a month on its own, with set-up included and no separate set-up fee. It’s free for as long as we’re your SEO service (our SEO plans start from £300 + VAT a month).
How do I pay?
We invoice monthly and you pay by direct debit. There’s no online checkout: we set you up personally, so we start with a conversation.
Is there a long contract?
No. It runs month to month with no long minimum term, and you can stop by giving us 30 days’ written notice.
What if I stop using Oak Cassidy for SEO?
The free dashboard goes with the SEO service. If our SEO work ends you can choose to carry on with Oak Insight at £99 + VAT a month, or stop.
Is it safe for my customers’ privacy?
We use privacy-friendly visitor analytics and only the data needed to report on your website. We’ll explain exactly what is collected so your own privacy notice stays accurate.
Can I see an example before I decide?
Yes. Enquire and we’ll walk you through a live demonstration. The screens on this site use made-up example figures, never real client data.
